On June 6, 2015, Annabelle's family and friends met for her Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m. at Dayspring Baptist Church in Grants Pass, Oregon. Pastor Stan Smith opened welcoming family and friends. After sharing his experiences with Annabelle, Nancy Goss sang a solo, "He Looked Beyond My Faults and Saw My Need," accompanied by Delight Newcomb, pianst. Two songs were sung that spoke to how Annabelle felt about her relationship to God: "He Lives," because of how strongly she felt the presence of God in her heart; and "This Is My Father's World," because it spoke to how she could look around at all nature and see the hand of God. Annabelle could never understand how people could not see Him in trees, flowers, and birds that sing. Her daughter, Pat Phillips, did a sharing of her life from her birth on her Grandfather's ranch in Crows Landing, California, to her move to Oregon. Pastor Stan Smith shared the importance of Christ, and it's leading to a place within Heaven. Family members and friends had a time of sharing; and we gathered in a circle to sing a song she loved to sing after evening worship, "I'm So Glad I'm a part of the family of God." The service as adjourned for a time of food and fellowship.
The following were in attendance: Pastor Stan Smith, and his wife Rhonda, Sybil Allen, Stan Nations, Pete and Sherry Peterson, Sug Axtell, Delight Newcomb, Nancy and Ken Goss, Laura, Tommy, and Annabelle Vigil, John (West) Wisner, John Donati, Harry and Carol Mall, Pamela Wisner, Clark and Florence Boyette, Jim Hale, Jeff, Cyria, Jacob, and Cassie Wisner, Jhona Leiby, Danielle Bonilla, Allen Leiby, Nevaeh Leiby, Mark Leiby and Lorrie Prince, Dustin Leiby, Kylie Leiby, Charles and Patricia Phillips. These were only some who loved you and you will be forever in our hearts as a testimony of Gods faithfulness along one's journey in this life. You are forever in our hearts

Warm thoughts of joy and laughter fill my heart when I remember the day this picture was taken. It was a chilly November day, at the Veteran's Day Parade in Albany, Oregon.
You were radiant in red, waving the American flag. People passing by stopped to talk with you. Your love for them touched their hearts; one gave you an American flag to wave, another sat beside you and shared cookies, and another even bought you a cup of coffee!
Looking back, I remember my friend came to the house to go with us. She brought several warm jackets for you try on. You dawned on a red one with your black leather gloves. The hat was another matter, you were adamant! You did not like the hat and refused to wear it. You put that hat on your head with a pouting look!
Yet looking back, you looked so precious to me! Love you, Mom

Looking back, your love was infectious to others, but precious to me! Love you, Mom

Grandma you will be missed. You were a truly strong woman and you leave a legacy of brave and God fearing children to finish our task here on earth, but not without your knowledge and grace. Thank you for taking the time to teach us how to be better. God surely is enjoying your company with him in heaven. See you when our Heavenly Father allows.
