I'm glad I got to meet Anne and that she got to meet Alice the Great Horned Owl in person. Anne was an invaluable supporter of our owl projects in Houston.

I never met Anne- but liked her through her posts on the Rochester Falcon board. The world has lost a gem. My condolences to all family and friends.

Annie was one of the kindest, most caring people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Her passing leaves a big hole in my life and I will miss her more than I can say. I hope that Ol' Earl and the Dancing Owl will find good new homes. She would want that.

You were the most kind, sweet, gentle person I have ever known. You taught me so much about what it is to be a better person and a what a true friend is. I will miss you and your hugs and our conversation and the laughs we had together more than you will know. Thank you for your friendship. Sending you a hug, because I know how much you loved them.

"Annie", your friendship and the sharing of our ups and downs will be memories I will treasure forever. I miss you so much!! I will never be able to watch a flock of pigeons, commune with one of Eric's Texas "cousins", or pass by a Starbucks without being jolted by thoughts of your kindness, compassion, and spirit of just plain fun! The next time I get to town, I will stop by SB's and lift a "Frap" (low cal, of course) in your honor. Love you!!

What an astonishing example of a human being, a woman who passionately tried to advocate for the very best in herself and in others. I will cherish her example of the best in humanity, including her unabashed joy and interest in the world.

Your family accepted me as an "adopted" sister & daughter, and for that I'll be ever grateful. You, Anne, have always been so kind, fun, caring, serious, everything a person should be. You and your family will always have parts of my heart. I agree with Colin above, fly free with the raptors you loved........
