Anne M. Corsi (nee Perry), 76, took leave of us all on Feb. 12 after a bout with cancer to re-join her immediate family (sisters, brother, parents) all of whom had pre-deceased her. She leaves behind a void which shall be difficult to fill for all those who knew her. Anne ("Peanuts" to her family) possessed a keen mind, sharp wit and always met life's challenges head on. She was a lifelong Manhattanite who spent her entire life in mid -town on the east side and was a NYer through and through. She attended P.S. 59 and Cathedral H.S. in mid-town. Anne M. Corsi (nee Perry), 76, took leave of us all on Feb. 12 after a bout with cancer to re-join her immediate family (sisters, brother, parents) all of whom had pre-deceased her. She leaves behind a void which shall be difficult to fill for all those who knew her. Anne ("Peanuts" to her family) possessed a keen mind, sharp wit and always met life's challenges head on. She was a lifelong Manhattanite who spent her entire life in mid -town on the east side and was a NYer through and through. She attended P.S. 59 and Cathedral H.S. in mid-town. Anne loved books, journeys, cocktails, late night TV and the Mets. She had spent many years working in the HR dept. of Marsh & McLennan before retiring. The lives of those around her were much better for having known her and her passing is a loss which shall be hard to overcome. Peanuts is survived by her husband and life mate of 56 years, Bob, and 4 nieces and 4 nephews who loved her more than she knew. Wake to be held on Tuesday, 03/04, at Andrett Funeral Home, 353 2nd Ave @ 21st St., NY, NY 10010. Hrs 2-6 PM. Service at Church of the Epiphany, on 21st St. between 2nd & 3rd Aves. at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, 03/05. Burial following service at Calvary Cemetery in Queens, NY (49-01 Laurel Hill Blvd., Woodside.) Donations in Anne's memory may be made to Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home, 1339 York Avenue, NY, NY 10021.
