Anneliese Krause, 77, of Tacoma, passed away on Aug. 6, 2017. Born in Greifswald, Germany on June 11, 1940 she came to America with her family in 1956. When not surrounding herself with family and friends, mom was fond of creating and hosting large parties several times throughout the year. A longtime member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Herbert Krause in 2012. She is survived by sons, David (Miriam) Gary (Tammy) Bernard (Shelia) Krause; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Erwin Hauk. Mom will be laid to rest next to Dad at Tahoma National Cemetery on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017 at 9:30. A Celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Tacoma. Donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org/alzwa). We were all blessed for having Anneliese in our lives, she will be greatly missed.
