Ana Blas was born on September 9, 1941 in Sinajana, Guam to her mother, Nicolasa Cepeda Rabon Torres, and her father, Juan Muna Torres. She grew up and spent most of her early years in Guam. At the age of 17, she moved to San Diego, California and graduated from Point Loma High School in 1960.
At the age of 18, she was crowned Miss San Diego of the San Diego Sons & Daughters of Guam Club in 1960.

In 1961, she met and fell in love with her future husband, Atanacio Perez Blas. They married on October 13, 1962 in St. Jude Catholic Church in Sinajana, Guam, and resided in San Diego, CA.Shortly thereafter they welcomed their first child Jesus in 1963, and later had four more children (Rosemarie, Peter, Tony, and Lalanie Ann). She worked as a talented and skilled seamstress for St. Johns Knit in San Diego, CA for several years.Later, she stayed home to care for her husband who became disabled due to his illness. After 40 years of marriage, Atanacio passed away from a heart disease in 2002.Years later, she met Joe Borja, and as companions they shared many of life's adventures together.

Ana remained a very active volunteer and board member of the Guam Club. She loved to dance, traveling to explore the world, and spending time to get more acquainted with the horses and how she could beat the odds. She also remained active in the local San Diego community, and St. Jude Club and Choir, but most of all; she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

Ana was a very kind and loving wife, sister, mother, and friend. Always willing to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it, she would always do her best to make everyone feel warm and welcome.

At the age of 72, Ana passed away unexpectedly on June 28th, 2014 in a tragic automobile accident near Fresno, California.

She is survived by her 5 children Jesus, Rosemarie, Peter, Tony, and Lalanie Ann; and also by 7 grandchildren Atanacio, Victoria, Sebastian, Vanessa, Samantha, Gordon, and Keilani Ann.Ana also leaves behind a daughter-in-law Mary Elizabeth, future son-in-law Joe, daughter-in-law Christine, and son-in-law David. Her six surviving siblings include Jesusa Leon Guerrero, Mary Concepcion, Jaunita Armendariz, Johnny Torres, Julie Cepeda, and Joseph Torres; and many nieces and nephews.

Ana was taken way too soon but her spirit will remain in all of those who knew and loved her.She will best be remembered for her warm and friendly smile, her contagious laughter, friendliness, and loving heart.Ana will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Mom.You will never be forgotten and you will always be loved.
