Anthony William Wulf, 96, of Bettendorf passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Bettendorf Health Care. There will be no services held. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting www.rungemortuary.com.
He was born on November 30, 1919 the in Davenport, IA son of Leo and Marietta (Lohmiller) Wulf. He was a distinguished athlete in track and football at Davenport High School. Anthony was united marriage to DeLane Runburg on March 10, 1946. She preceded him in death in 2015.
Joining the Marines in January in 1945, Anthony served for three and half years in the South Pacific. He dedicated 28 years working at ALCOA before his retirement in 1976. After his retirement he moved to his beloved land, Theodosia, MO spending 18 years there before returning to Iowa.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Stephen (Randy) Wulf and Sandra (Volker) Coleman and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, DeLane.

Hello, Tony was a table mate at BHC with Elmer Knapper. He was kind and interesting and we enjoyed our time with him. He was very attentive and fatherly to Elmer, peace be to Tony and to all of you in your grief journey. Gary and Donna Knapper
