Tony was a high school classmate, and radiated goodness and kindness to all even as an awkward teen. I hadn't seen Tony or any of my classmates for decades as my performing career took me away from New jersey. Fortunately, I had an opportunity to reconnect with Tony as two much older men. What a pleasant surprise to find Tony the same nice, thoughtful, and kind guy of my high school memories. It just goes to show, good guys are born, not made. Tony and I spent many an hour becoming reacquainted as adults through Facebook and working plans for our class reunion. It sounds so trite, but our lives are really short. Tony made the most of his, having a loving family, friends who will always fondly remember him. You are already missed my friend. Rest in peace.

My dad was a loving man. He was caring and kind. He was generous and forgiving. My dad's smile was contagious and could lift your spirits at any given moment. He was a spiritual man. He was a gentle man. His love was unconditional. There are not enough words in the world that could begin to describe the amazing person that my father was. To say he left this earth too soon is an understatement. There is not a single person who knew him that has an unkind word to say about him. He was truly a gift from God. Anyone whose life he touched was blessed to have had the privilege of knowing him.
My dad taught me how to love. He taught me how be strong at my weakest moments. He taught me to pick myself up when I fall. He taught me to have courage when I am scared. He taught me to never give up and to stand up for what I believe in. Most of all he taught me to be me.
I will always cherish the time he has given me. My fond memories of dancing like no one is looking, our shared love of cheering for the Yankees, and of course the occasional yelling at them too. Acting like a goofball in all situations, no matter what, to turn any sorrow into laughter. And how can we forget the instant catnap after just one martini. I will always remember him as the life of every party, always stealing the show. I am proud to have him has my daddy.

Tony and I worked together for 8 years in the same offices. We shared a lot of deli lunches, cups of coffee and lots of laughter. Tony was a wonderful listener, and always willing to help strategize about business challenges. On Holy Days, we'd run out of the office at lunchtime to go to Mass. Over all these years, the thing I remember most is Tony's deep love for his wife and daughter. He was truly one of the "good guys", wasn't he? Gail Ogando

We have fond memories of Deacon Tony coming to visit our family prior to our son's baptism and again visiting us in the hospital after our son's cleft lip repair at 5 months. He made a special effort to come to the hospital on a very rainy Tuesday evening. His thoughtfulness made an impression on our family. His smile and his spirit will be missed. Our prayers are with your family.
