Tony moved with his family from Clayton, NM to Globeville, CO when he was a child where he attended Holy Rosary grade school. His family moved to Commerce City, CO when he was a teenager where he graduated from Adams City High School in 1958. After High School Tony served in the Marine Corps, then returned home to Commerce City, CO where he met his wife-to-be Mary.
After their wedding on August 31st, 1963, Tony and Mary moved to Aurora, CO. They lived in an apartment near Stapleton Airport for a year before purchasing their first and only home on Newark Street where they lived happily for the next 50 years, raised their children, spoiled their grandchildren, and grew old together.
Tony worked his entire career in the building industry. Welding was his first occupation, and he then moved into warehouse work with Colorado Building Specialties, where he made many connections and friends. He ultimately went into commercial and retail sales of building and hardware supplies, and retired from Builder's Hardware in 2002. Tony was active with the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Moose Lodge. In his spare time he enjoyed working in the yard and heading "up the hill" to enjoy the gambling in Blackhawk and Central City.
