Shirley & Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. Growing up across the street from you I remember many years of riding my bike from my yard to yours. Tony was always a sweet, kind, caring man. I remember all the neighbors gathering together on summer nights on the sidewalk and talking for hours. Your family has always been kind to my mom, my grandfather & the rest of our family. Now that I have kids of my own we always look forward to trick or treating at your house every year. May God Bless your family at this time and know that you are in my families thought and prayers. Please let us know if you need anything at all.

Dear Aunt Shirley, I was so sad to hear that Uncle Tony passed away. Marc telephoned me today to tell me. I know how much you have missed being together these past months. It is so hard to bear such a loss; I am so very sorry. Uncle Tony will be remembered for all the wonderful things he accomplished in his lifetime. His heart was so full of love and kindness, always. He will be honored, as he honored others in his lifetime. He was a blessing to all who knew him. I pray you will find comfort and peace in the wonderful memories you made together over the years, and in the eyes of the children and grandchildren he left behind. I will always remember his laugh. I will miss him very much. I pray the Lord will comfort and strengthen you with His grace, and keep you always in His divine and everlasting love. Grace and peace be with you in Christ, our Lord now and forever. I love you Aunt Shirley. Ann Wells, Virginia Beach, VA

Tony surely had a profound impact on the life of many - including the "Jets", the Columbus Park Little League team he coached and managed for many years. We will always remember him as a dedicated Leader who instilled in our Team members and the entire League the values and principles which endure to this day. Sincere condolences are offered to his family and his friends from the Board Members of the Columbus Park Independent Baseball League and those of us who played under his leadership as youngsters. He leaves a legacy of kindness and exemplary leadership for which we are all grateful.
Sincerely,
Alan Amaral ("Jets" player 1956-1960); Board member, Secretary, Columbus Park Independent Baseball.
