Anthony Leonard Stenberg – age 75, of Muskegon, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2013. Anthony was born in Pontiac, Michigan on September 25, 1937 to parents Leonard and Silver (Herford) Stenberg. Anthony married his loving wife of 54 years, Joan Kay Mahn, on February 21, 1959. He served in the United States Navy for four years, was employed as a machine repairman for EH Sheldon, Kaydons and retired from Sealed Power Hy Lift. Anthony enjoyed antique cars and Cadillac's. Anthony leaves to cherish in his memory, wife, Joan; children: Debra (Mark) Hutson, Michael (Patty) Stenberg, and Steven (Julie) Stenberg; grandchildren: Mark Hutson, Jr., Brock Stenberg, Heidi Hutson, Dalton Stenberg, Carson Stenberg and Cooper Stenberg; great-grandson Damarien Thompson; brother, Phillip (Betty) Stenberg; mother-in-law, Velma Mahn; and special friend, Scotty Moore. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 20 at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating, Ave., Muskegon. The family will receive visitors beginning at 12 noon on Monday at the funeral home.
