Antiopie Tzouras, born May 30, 1924 in Isoma Achaias, Greece passed away peacefully on November 29, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her two daughters Magdalene (Ted) Bourdaniotis and Terri (Rick) Barton; seven grandchildren Sandra Kordazakis (Chris) , PJ Bourdaniotis (Vicky) , Maggie David (Matt), Theon Bourdaniotis, Jonathan Barton, Robert Barton (Mariah) and Matthew Barton; 4 great-grandchildren Giana, Violeta, Magdalene and Nastasia; her sister-in-law Dina Apostolou and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John.
Antiopie came to the United States in 1969 with her family. She loved her family and also enjoyed cooking and embroidery. "Yiayia Poppy" will be missed by all who knew her.
Trisagion will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home 5401 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento,
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10:30 am at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 600 Alhambra Blvd, Sacramento, CA
