Antonio "Tony" Querido, 55, of Danbury, CT passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Danbury Hospital.

Born in Alfeizerao, Portugal, he was a son of the late Joaquim and Deolinda Maria Santos Querido. Tony came to the United States 28 years ago. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Danbury.

Tony enjoyed music, soccer, and his friends. He was a DJ in the Danbury area.

Survivors include his daughter: Amanda Querido of Pennsylvania. His brothers: Mario and Luis of Portugal. His sisters: Maria Goncalves of Danbury and Maria Odete Querido of Portugal. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents, Tony was predeceased by his brother: Dinis Jose Querido.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Danbury with the Rev. Jose Martins, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be at convenience of the family.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 5pm to 7:30pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT 06810
