Obituary

Ardis Luella Anderson, age 87, of Hayward, WI passed away on Monday, August 5th, 2013 and was reunited with her husband, Arnold. Ardis Luella was born December 29, 1925 in Rice Lake, WI the daughter of William and Jennie (Roberts) Westphal. She graduated from high school in Hayward. On June 1, 1946 Ardis was joined in marriage to Arnold E. Anderson. Ardis worked as a clothing buyer, first for Dunster's and then for Sid's Accessories both on Main Street in Hayward. She was an active member of the Veteran of Foreign War and Disabled American Veteran Auxiliaries and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Hayward. Ardis is...
Ardis Luella Anderson, age 87, of Hayward, WI passed away on Monday, August 5th, 2013 and was reunited with her husband, Arnold.

Ardis Luella was born December 29, 1925 in Rice Lake, WI the daughter of William and Jennie (Roberts) Westphal. She graduated from high school in Hayward. On June 1, 1946 Ardis was joined in marriage to Arnold E. Anderson. Ardis worked as a clothing buyer, first for Dunster's and then for Sid's Accessories both on Main Street in Hayward. She was an active member of the Veteran of Foreign War and Disabled American Veteran Auxiliaries and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Hayward.

Ardis is survived by her daughter, Marianne Goodwin of Racine, WI; five grandchildren, Marcelle Bittis, Michael Bittis, Jesse Hamilton, James Oscar, and John Oscar; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold; daughter, Patricia Oscar; and one brother and four sisters.

A funeral service for Ardis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10th at First Lutheran Church in Hayward with Pastor Scott Ludford officiating. Music will be provided by Rebecca Iverson. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward.
