Arnold Dunn, 86, executive and philanthropist. A veteran of WWII who served in the Coast Guard and graduated from Brown University, he had a long career in the shoe industry, serving as president of the Marx & Newman Company, chairman of Intershoe Corporation, and founder of Arnold Dunn, Inc., working extensively in Italy. He was a longtime donor to charitable causes, including both his alma mater and Mount Sinai Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Deborah, his son, Adam, and his grandsons, Samuel and Jacob. Arnold was a great man. I am happy I got to meet him several times and I am sorry for Debbie, Adam and family's loss. Love Carol Rosskam in Boston
