So sorry to hear about Art's passing. What a truly wonderful man. I worked with Art for a short time at Standard Beverage Corporation. He always had a smile and something nice or funny to say. We talked about our dogs whenever we saw each other. He loved Miss Rosie! My thoughts are with Phyllis and family. He will be greatly missed.

Art, and his wife Phyllis were like another set of neighborhood parents to us when we moved in next door to them when I was 9 years old. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how much my mom and dad (Billy and Wanda Rainer) and my sister, Jan, thought of them, too. Our thoughts and prayers will continue for Phyllis during this very difficult time. It has to be difficult to lose a good husband after so many good years together, but coming just 17 days after the loss of their daughter and only child, Melissa, must seem almost unbearable. We love you, Phyllis!! It seems like we have been grieving losses together for the past 6 years. Prayers for Bob and for Michael, too.

Art was one of the very first people that I met when I went to work at Standard Beverage in 1984. He always called me "Michelly" and I enjoyed his spirit and sense of humor. He was one of our "oldtimers" and will certainly be missed. My sincere condolences to the family.
