Maynard- Arthur Raymond Maynard passed away Nov. 26, 2016. Arthur was born on August 30, 1937 to Katherine and Joseph Maynard. He was a long time resident of Canterbury. Before his retirement he was a long term and proud employee of the Navy Exchange. Arthur enjoyed the outdoors, travel, photography and his family. Left to cherish his memory are his brother Lawrence Maynard, sister, Joyce and her husband James McCutcheon, nieces Kimberly and Michael White, Kelly Daigle, Christina and Lee Martin, Jamie and Francisco Loredo, and nephew James McCutcheon II. He also leaves his great niece Nicole and Zach Zeller, great nephews, Gregory White, Jonathan and Thomas Martin, and great great niece Kiera. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lois Walker. A Graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday Nov. 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Avery Stoddard Cemetery Ledyard.
