Dear Margaret, Karen, & Dean: Arthur will be missed by all who knew him because he was the type of man we all admired & emulated. I remember him well from my childhood days (50+ years ago); partly because my dad was the Arthur Abel from Riesel. Once in a while the one Arthur Abel would, by mistake, get the other Arthur Abel's mail. Because they were cousins & "got along" very well, the mail always got to the right Arthur Abel.

Mrs. Abel,
May God bless you with the courage to make it through each day as you proceed through life with this change. May He bless you with the strength to make each passing day. I will forever remember Mr. Abel as he walked the path in the pasture from the barn to your home. It is a pleasant memory that makes me smile. My prayers and thoughts have been with you since I find out that he was ill. These prayers and thoughts will continue to be with you in the hopes of offering peace to you and your daughter.
