In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a beloved Brother, Uncle,& Dear Friend. Arturo Montanez "Tudy" "El Chango" Barrasa.
Mr. Barrasa 63 of Odessa, passed away at his residence, Monday March 23, 2015. He was born March 28, 1949 here in Odessa, Texas, to Magdeleno Barrasas and Manuela Montanez.
He was a Christian, an Auto Body Mechanic and a veteran of the Lowrider Industry with The Taste of Latin "Bajito" Lowrider Car Club here in Odessa, Texas
Arturo is preceded in death by: A Daughter,Father: Magdeleno Barrasa, Mother: Manuela Montanez Hernandez, Brothers: Alberto Hernandez and Raymundo Canales;
He is survived by: A Daughter, his brothers: Ysidro Barrasa,, Nick Hernandez and wife,(Cindy), and David Hernandez, all of Odessa; Sister: Linda Barrasa of Crane Texas,Grandchildren:
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and Many friends.
We the Barrasa Montanez Hernandez Family ,and Taste of Latin "Bajito" Body Shop, would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for all your prayers, floral arrangements, food, offering and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. May God Bless You All Abundantly.
Pallbearers will be: Nick A. Hernandez, Anthony Hernandez, Ismael Hernandez, Israel Hernandez, David Barraza,, Eric Hernandez and Nicolas Hernandez.
Visitation will be held today Tuesday March 31, 2015 from 8am to 9pm. at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held at 10am Wednesday April 01, 2015 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor: Eli Emiliano officiating.
Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery the Rose Hill Section.
