My name is Nancy Burrough Yuckert. My mom was Lora Hawks and grandpa Bob Hawks. I am sorry to hear of Arvilla's passing. I have heard about Arvilla over the years from people still living in Ellensburg and always thought I would see her sometime when I came to town. I am sorry that didn't happen. My thoughts are with all of you.

Dear Arvilla Family,
Both my mother, Lillie Goad (1906-1994), and I worked for/with Arvilla at the Y Grill in the late 1950s. There couldn't have been a sweeter, kinder, harder-working lady to call "boss". I'm glad she lived such a long, long life.

Arvilla (aka Gramma to all of us Papineau kids) was a beautiful lady with a huge heart. I have many fond memories of her, from working with her and my mother (Ella Papineau) in the kitchen at the Moose or going to her house and visiting. She will be missed by many.

Arvilla was a friend of my Mom, Marie Mills. I imagine they are in heaven, toasting the decades they enjoyed themselves at the Moose, and their long, sweet lives.
