Assunta Paduano (nee Mercuro), 97, of Sayreville, passed away on January 24 at Roosevelt Care Center, Old Bridge. She worked for Shop Rite in the deli department, in East Orange.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, February 1 from 4-8 pm. Kindly be at the funeral home on Friday, February 2 for 9:15 am followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark.. The burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home,(www.zarrofuneralhome.net) 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield, NJ 07003. Assunta is survived by her loving and devoted children, Patricia and son, Ralph and his wife, Teri; son –in-law, Gerardo Mennonna ;cherished grandchildren, Alfred and Patrick Mennonna; great grandchildren, Antonio, Alessio, Juliana and Nicholas Mennonna.
She was predeceased by her husband, Pasquale Paduano; daughter, Carmela Mennonna; siblings, Peter, Angelo, Ralph Mercuro and Mary DeRose.
