Machinist

WINTER HAVEN - August W. Miller, 77, passed away on April 6, 2013 due to multiple systems failure.
He was born in Portage, WI and moved to this area 46 years ago. He was a machinist, and a past member of the Elks, Lunker Lovers, and antique auto clubs.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Cothren, and a sister, Mary Chancey. He is survived by his wife, Frances Miller, a son, Jeffery Miller, a daughter, Cynthia Tyler, two brothers, Harold and Donald Miller, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Dundee United Methodist Church on Thursday at 5 pm.

Fran, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have many fond memories of early our early years as children of the Miller family. I am so glad you and Augie found time on your last trip to Wisconsin to see Mom and to come and see me. What a great visit we had. I;m sure Mom will be ready to fry some fish for him again - after they go fishing to catch them! Thank you for all you've done for him, especially these last several years when his health has really failed.
