Benjamin “Frank” Warren the second, 87, a loving husband, father and grandfather died of complications from a long courageous battle with cancer in his home on September 13, 2016.

Son of the late Benjamin Frank Warren and the late Maurine Patterson Warren, Frank grew up in Houston, Texas with two brothers and three sisters. He graduated from Lamar High School and attended the University of Texas in Austin. He served as an officer in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He married the love of his life Judie Wallace Warren and together they built a life as entrepreneurs and in real estate. A native Houstonian, Frank also lived in New York, Miami, Corpus Christi, San Antonio and finally settling in New Orleans, Louisiana for the majority of his life. He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling and dancing.

His sisters Betty Huggins and Patricia Hall precede him in death. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judie Wallace Warren, along with his brothers Jimmy Warren, Rush Warren and his sister Rene Poth. He is also survived by his sons, Wade Wallace Warren (Gina) of Hendersonville, Tennessee and West Wallace Warren (Jonté) of New Orleans, Louisiana and five grandchildren, Winter Cowan Warren, Wesley Renee Warren, Sky Maurine Warren, Blakely Dickson Warren and West Wallace Warren, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 12:00 NOON with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 NOON. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Audubon Nature Institute are preferred.
