While recovering from a broken hip and wrist, Barbara (Bobbie) suddenly passed away on Monday, June 18th.
Early in life she was a riveter in an aircraft factory during WWII but spent most of her career in banking, retiring after 50 years from Bank of America.
She led a full life and was predeceased by her husband Don in 1997. She is survived by her son, Wayne DeFreest and wife Genie and her daughter, Karen Baird and husband Mike. She was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and great grandmother to seven great grandchildren.
Our family was blessed with her presence. She loved everyone and we were all better people because of her. She was truly an Angel on earth.
