Beatrice "Bea" Garcia, 86, our precious mother, went home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2014. She was born in Fort Collins, CO and raised in Fort Garland, CO. She moved to Pueblo in 1953. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bennie Garcia; her parents, Abe and Refugio Gonzales; one sister, Helen Medina; brothers, Tom, Rudy and Levi Gonzales. Bea is survived by her children, Joan (Mike) Medina, Ron (Elma) Garcia; three sisters, Mary Maestas, Mary Helen Martinez, and Hope Wilcox; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Andrea), Matt Medina, Melanie (Mike) Devine, Nikki (Nick), Ryan Garcia; five great-grandchildren. Bea retired from Parkview Hospital after twenty one years on 3 South Pediatrics. She was an artist, loved to sew, crochet and bake. She loved to read her Bible and had a very strong faith. At Bea's request, there will be no viewing. Funeral Service, 11am, Friday, April 11, 2014, Adrian Comer Garden Chapel with Interment to follow at Imperial Cemetery.
