Barbara Jean Smith Cochran, age 70, of Locust Grove, GA passed away October 11, 2016. She was born in Miami, FL the daughter of the late Louise Baker Smith and William Smith. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being a devoted homemaker, spoiling her grandchildren, watching old movies and the Walton TV series. Survivors are her loving husband of fifty years, Kenneth Cochran of Locust Grove; daughters and sons-in-law; Melanie and Don Roller of Anchorage, AK, Victoria and Leon Backa of Anchorage, AK, and Pam and Jeremy Torbert of Marietta; and eight grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Georgia Chapter of ALZ.org.
