On December 14, 2012, Barbara Marie Ares (nee Balcerak); beloved wife of the late Joseph Ares, Jr.; devoted mother of Barbara Lee Williams, Joseph Ares, III and his wife Mary, Lucinda Ares and Antoinette Smith and her husband David; dear sister of Virginia Potts, Helen Mayeski and the late Francis and Valentina Balcerak; loving grandmother of Dara, Jason and Tristan Williams, Courtney Roberts, Stephanie, Alvin and Richard Banthem and Kirsten and Joshua Smith. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236, on Monday 3-5 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Bradshaw, MD, on Tuesday at 10am. Interment Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Maryland 1850 York Rd. Suite D Timonium, MD 21093. Online tributes may be left at www.schimunekfuneralhomes.com
