Barbara May Ashby, 80, of Lyndon passed away Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Baptist Hospital East. She was a homemaker and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of LaGrange.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ashby and a daughter, Marla Sue Ashby.

She is survived by her son, Brian Ashby (Susan), brothers Lawrence M. and Owen W. Leitner; sisters Joyce Y. Bouchez and Patricia A. Guppy and 7 grandchildren.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 18 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial at Valley of Rest Cemetery. The Very Reverend J. Mark Spalding will officiate. Visitation is 4-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with a prayer service at 7 P.M.

Memorial gifts may go to The Mass of the Air.
