Dear Kim and Family,
Polly Montgomery just told me about your mother's death. I didn't know, as I'm still in Brookline for some of the winter so I'm sorry if I missed a memorial service. If,however, there is one coming up, could you let me know? Your mother and I had many good
conversations over a long period of
time ,whether on MBL Bd, at the library, museum, beach or just standing on Water St! She took a genuine interest in my activities and well-being rather than focusing on herself, and I felt v. comfortable with her. Lately I'd ask Seymour how she was doing. My parents rented your house when the Nonides had it before we were on Hyatt Rd, and then of
course you rented my house in Racing
Beach which soon I must sell..
It's hard to lose a mother even if you
had her company a long time and when
the last years weren't so easy. I hope
life is going well for you otherwise
and wish you the best,
