Obituary

Barbara Claire (Wisnieski) Curdie, 78 of Monroe, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at The Elms of Cranbury. Born in Newark, NJ she lived the majority of her life in Fords before moving to Monroe 2 years ago. Barbara was a secretary with Seymour Franks in Avenel for over 20 years before retiring in 2006. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Peace in Fords, St. James RC Church in Woodbridge and St. James RC Church in Jamesburg. Barbara was also an avid New York Yankee Fan. She is predeceased by her loving husband Donald (1990) and adored son James (1988). She is survived by her dear children Kimberly...
Barbara Claire (Wisnieski) Curdie, 78 of Monroe, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at The Elms of Cranbury. Born in Newark, NJ she lived the majority of her life in Fords before moving to Monroe 2 years ago.

Barbara was a secretary with Seymour Franks in Avenel for over 20 years before retiring in 2006. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Peace in Fords, St. James RC Church in Woodbridge and St. James RC Church in Jamesburg. Barbara was also an avid New York Yankee Fan.

She is predeceased by her loving husband Donald (1990) and adored son James (1988). She is survived by her dear children Kimberly (and Tom) Scott, Don Curdie and Ray (and Karen) Curdie. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren Brittany Scott, Julia Scott, Jimmy Curdie and Caitie Curdie.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation from 6 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 Hwy 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A Funeral Mass will be offered 10:30 am Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at St. James RC Church 36 Lincoln Avenue Jamesburg, NJ 08831. Burial to follow St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.
