Barbara Kerl Hausbeck, 84, born on May 3, 1928 in Hollis New York, and died on May 29, 2012, in Merritt Island, FL, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She and her husband, Charles, retired to Merritt Island from Seaford, New York in 1983. A retired elementary school teacher, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, boating, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family and friends. Barbara leaves behind her beloved husband of 58 years, Charles Hausbeck; two daughters, Jean Mullins of Longwood, FL and Joan Imbro of Seaford, NY; three granddaughters, Katherine Mullins, Jennifer and Jessica Imbro; and a sister, Edith Marcher of...
Barbara Kerl Hausbeck, 84, born on May 3, 1928 in Hollis New York, and died on May 29, 2012, in Merritt Island, FL, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She and her husband, Charles, retired to Merritt Island from Seaford, New York in 1983.

A retired elementary school teacher, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, boating, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family and friends.

Barbara leaves behind her beloved husband of 58 years, Charles Hausbeck; two daughters, Jean Mullins of Longwood, FL and Joan Imbro of Seaford, NY; three granddaughters, Katherine Mullins, Jennifer and Jessica Imbro; and a sister, Edith Marcher of Riverside, CA.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Merritt Island.

The Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012 between 2 and 4 pm with services following at 4 pm at Wylie - Baxley Merritt Island, 1360 N. Courtenay Pkwy., Merritt Island. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery on Monday.
