They moved to Freeport in 1950 where J. T. began his career at Dow. They settled in Lake Jackson soon after, where she was a housewife and raised five children. She spent time volunteering as a "pink lady" at the Brazosport Community Hospital. She enjoyed her time spent in both the geriatric unit as well as the nursery. Barbara was also a volunteer for many years at the Lake Jackson Library. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. The Hill family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the care given to Barbara by Elmcroft Senior Living and IPH Home Health Care. She loved you all.

"My sincerest condolences to you all. It is clear that Barbara Ann had a beautiful life surrounded by family that loved her dearly. My family is related to..." Dana Stripling (Austin, TX)
