I have few fond memories of Eric and Barbara growing up at family gatherings. Our father's are first cousins. We had some pretty nice times together and we are all so very sorry and saddened by her death. She was so young and my heart hurts each time I think of her. May she rest in peace for all eternity and maybe she and my Dad Frank will unite in Heaven for some laughs. Love The Seltzer Family.

I've had a hard time accepting that Barbara is no longer with us. I had the pleasure of knowing Barbara at work and what a worker she was. She was always so kind, informative, funny and thorough. Most amazingly, was the way she held on and kept moving. She truly was a soldier and she dealt with it all to the end. I admired her very much and I will truly miss her. She was always, always so pleasant and never did I see her having a bad day (even if she was). Rest in peace, Barbara. You will be missed.

Barbara was such a respected professional. Her responsiveness and attention to detail was admired by the attorneys and staff of the Criminal Justice Act lawyers who represent indigent defendants in the Federal District Court. My condolences to her family and loved ones, as well as to her colleagues at the courthouse.

I will miss Barbara. She always had a smile and joke to tell. I will miss her laugh and seeing her walk everyday at lunch. My sympathies to her family, friends and all that knew her. There are no words that are adequate enough to describe this loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with Barbara, her family, friends and fellow paddlers. I am deeply saddened to hear of Barbara's passing, though I will remember her great smile and cheery laugh, and standing with her on dock chatting & goofing around, waiting to load our dragon boat. Always sweet, courageous and quietly determined, she will be sorely missed. - Paulette Deery, friend and teammate, Wellness Warriors

Over the years, I was privileged to have gotten to know Barbara at work. I remember how impressed I was when I found out about her involvement with Wellness Warriors. I will always remember the fun time we all had together at the office Christmas party. Barbara was a wonderful person and is missed. She was a true Eishet Chayil- a Woman of Valor. My condolences to her family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Barbara's family. I was very sad to hear about her illness and passing. I used to babysit for her and her brother when they were little and I always enjoyed sitting for them. I only knew her as a little girl but reading all the thoughtful words here I see she grew up to be a kind and hard working young lady. Rest in peace Barbara.

I knew Barbara from Wellness Warriors. Sometimes after practice I would walk with her as she was going to catch her bus and I was going to the T. Gave me a little chance to get to know her more. I liked and admired her very much and I feel blessed to have known her.

Barbara was a loving, smart and always cheerful person. No matter the pain or treatment she was going through, she was always upbeat and positive. Her kindness and thoughtfulness -- and her always hard-working and diligent attitude -- will be truly missed by everyone she worked with. So sad to get this news yesterday. Know that Barbara will be fondly remembered by all of us. Gary Wente

I am deeply saddened to read of Barbara's passing. I went to Framingham State and had several classes with Barbara. She was an extremely kind person. I also grew up in Waltham and my late mother Carol knew the Leboff family. I am very sorry for your loss and I wish you all peace and comfort at this very difficult time.

So saddened to hear the news of Barbara's death. I knew her only by telephone contact in her position with the financial office of the US District Court. But I spoke to her many times and asked for her assistance often which she was always willing to provide in a most helpful manner. Always pleasant, even cheerful, very competent and professional. I will miss her. My heartfelt condolences to all her loved ones, family and friends. My prayers for Barbara.
