Forever is Barbara.... A beautiful person, caring , loving for family and friends...always true to her self! A woman who went forward to find her dreams and when she found them she simply did them! ;)... I'm happy to have been there with her and to cheer her on..... We have worked together and consoled, laughed, cried together and challenged many things we thought that maybe impossible , but she knew all things were possible!...always had a great sense of humor and was always there for you!! When you needed a shoulder to cry on... Well we shared our shoulders and always ended up laughing! ;))... I still remember the day when Tara was brought outside, on Grand St. at T&L's diner, shortly after she was born, how she introduced her to myself and friends there...she was so happy that day! May you Rest in Peace Dear Barbara and forever be our Guardian Angel!

I don't even know where to start. Barbara was like a second mother to me. I have so many wonderful memories of her growing up. She always made me laugh. She had the best personality. She is so much part of my life, I will never forget what a wonderful person she was. when she would called Taras salon and I answered phone we would always say I love you to each other. It was the best feeling because I really did love her. She will be forever missed but never forgotten.
Jerry, Tara, Shannon, Erin, and Darrin, love you guys!!

There is so much to say, words cannot express my deepest sympathy for the Quinn family. As I think of Mrs. Quinn, a few words come to mind instantly; Style, Class, and Perseverance.
I have an overwhelming amount of love and respect for her; not only is she the mother of my dearest friend, she has made a great impact on her family and others, which is something to be greatly admired.
This is a tremendous loss and her wonderful qualities shine through in Tara, Shannon, Darrin, and Erin. I will have endearing thoughts of her forever.
Love always

I was so sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy. As a child I was on the Rosario's softball team with Tara and remember going to her house for snacks after practice - Barbara always made me feel at home, what a truly kind person!

To the Quinn family,
Barbara struck me as a fiercely loyal and centered human being, an intelligent and aware individual whose lifestyle reflected a deep appreciation for family values and a principled upbringing. No matter how difficult her life became due to failing health she never made excuses, enhancing the dignity and the poise that defines her. I'm humbled by the spiritual devotion your family holds for one another and by your fortitude.
God bless you.

Courage doesn't always roar.
Sometimes courage is the quiet voice
at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow."

I had the honor of getting to know Barbara in the last years of her life. She was a strong and sensitive woman who had an extraordinary sense of responsibility and devotion to her family and friends. I will always remember her with joy and laughter, as she was a humble woman with a wonderful, wry sense of humor. She loved to tell a good story and make others laugh! This personality trait was only equaled by her genuine caring and concern for her loved ones and others in her community. I greatly admired her tenacity in self-improvement and her willingness to try new things which had the potential to help her. She never gave up on herself. She was a spiritual warrior as well as a creative and intelligent woman. She will continue to be a lamp of light for others who remember her in this way. Many blessings to her family and future generations.

I will truly miss Aunt Barbara. She was a beautiful woman who inspired me from a young age. She gave me one of my first jobs, cutting her lawn on Harrison street when I was about 12 years old. I will never forget how she kept a perfect house that was always warm and inviting. I will always remember her sense of humor and love toward all of her nieces, nephews and children in the family. Thank you for all that great food and hospitality over the years. Despite your physical ailments and sufferings you were and still are an angel shown in your daily grace and humility. God Bless you Barbara. Your nephew Joe Vasta

Barbara Quinn was one the most kind and loving souls to ever walk this earth she made everyone comfortable and at easy being around her.She always had place for me at the dinner and card table. She was a calming word when you needed it. She look at you and tell you it was going to be ok. You always believed her. She was a angel on earth and she has returned to heaven.
This life has now passed away
They are with the Lord today
Enjoying a better life anew
Their memory shall we carry through
Until we again rendezvous
