Barbara Joleen Rae, 81, of Clinton Township died Monday, June 30, 2014 peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with dementia.

She was born Barbara Joleen Van Wie on October 20, 1932 in Salina, Kansas.
Barbara retired as a customer service manager for Old Kent Bank after many years of service.

She is survived by one daughter and one son, Debra Armstrong of Westland and Randy and wife Trish Rae of Clinton Township; and one grandchild, Tracy Armstrong of Westland.

In lieu of flowers family suggests a donation to Michigan Humane Society.
