Aunt Barb was such a joy to be around. She always made me feel special. I admired the love she and Sonny had for each other. Rare, especially these days. I know they are in heaven along with our other amazing aunts and family, laughing and enjoying each other. I'm proud to be a part of this wonderful celebration of life for such an awesome lady. Love you, Aunt Barb.

Aunt Barb.... What can I say? I know it wasn't right to have favorites... but she was definitely one of mine. Even as a young kid at family reunions; I never minded hanging with Aunt Barb, Uncle Sonny and the rest of the gang listening to their stories and cutting up. Her laugh was so infectious and I can hear it right now. Love and Miss you.

My dear Aunt Barbara! I have so many wonderful chidhood memories of all my "Okie" aunts raising me,as well as the other first-generation cousins.
We were so lucky to have been part of the "Boyd" family! All our love and prayers, Mike, Jane , and family.

Aunt Barb was like an older sister to me for all of my life. We had our own special times together I will never forget. Bob and I always enjoyed our times with Son and Barb. The "boys" fished and the "girls" giggled and remembered the past as only we could. I already miss those times. Our love goes to you both, Shirley Jane and Bub. Love and prayers, Norma Ann and Bob

Shirley have mentioned to you before, Barbara was one of the happiest, gentle women I have had the pleasure of knowing. Barbara made my heart light up just speaking and laughing with her. She left us with a lasting memory of herself.......her daughter Shirley. Mary Jo and I will remember her in our prayers.

We are saddened by the loss of Aunt Barbara. She will remain in our hearts forever! It was so great to hear around Christmas 2012 that she was still living in her home and doing fairly well. She was a great lady, easy to visit with, and always so happy! We enjoyed our many visits together with family. May God grant you all much comfort, but allow you to live on the memories of her life! We love you!

Bubby & Shirley. So sorry to hear about Aunt Barb. My memories are all so good, a sweet happy loving big sister to my Mother. Always smiling and quick to laugh. I'm sure she is now dancing and singing with Uncle Son and Jesus. Love you guys and hope to see you soon. Doug & Donna Ley and family.

Shirley and Bubba, (the only names I ever knew) I am truly sorry for your loss and know precisely how you feel. She had a great life, as the world sees it, and she was a fantastic aunt to me and sister to my mother. She will truly be missed by us all, and hope that you will be comforted by her life instead of by her passing. I cannot attend her funeral due to personal obligations, but our love is with you guys.
