Barbara "B.J." Jean Wickware, 64 year-old resident of Del City, Oklahoma, passed away June 30, 2012 at her home. Born October 3, 1947 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Jewel Sartain and Cona Sartain-Dye. B.J. was a longtime employee at Tinker AFB scheduling aircraft engine maintenance times. She was also owner/operator of the "89er" Bar for many years. B.J. loved butterflies and enjoyed art & crafts, ceramics, and "making things". Born October 3, 1947 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Jewel Sartain and Cona Sartain-Dye. B.J. was a longtime employee at Tinker AFB scheduling aircraft engine maintenance times. She was also owner/operator of the "89er" Bar for many years. B.J. loved butterflies and enjoyed art & crafts, ceramics, and "making things". She was an avid TV fan, enjoying many series over the years, never missing an episode of Star Trek, Gunsmoke, CSI, Dallas, and NCIS when televised. She also enjoyed being on the road and had seen the entire 48 states during her time spent trucking. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Jennifer Dawn Fletcher. Survivors include one son, Eric K. and his wife Shawnda Fletcher of Norman, Oklahoma; and one sister, Saundra Sartain of Del City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, 5005 SE 29th St., Del City, Oklahoma with Pastor Jerry Connell officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, Oklahoma with services under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home.
