I am so sorry to hear of uncle Barnetts passing...he was a very favorite uncle to me. In picture 89 my father John Messer is on the right. So many great memories of good times growing up. My love to Aunt Pauline and all of his family.

My Dad is free from his pain and has joined all his family that has gone home. I most en-lighting thought is: he is meeting his Mother for the first time. We will love and miss him always

I always enjoyed visiting with Barney and Pauline. I will never forget the fishing trip he took me on with Steve in his boat. I caught the biggest fish of my life. He was a man to be admired and emulated. I know his loss is difficult, but Heaven is his gain.

Family - my sympathy is extended to you during this time -and my love. My Uncle Barnett, my mother's brother, stands tall in my memory as a young sailor in a white uniform. My first memory of him is a laughing sailor teasing his sisters. How they loved him. Life and age and the loss of family has distanced me from Uncle Barnett and Aunt Pauline but I do have fond memories of them when they were younger and I will never forget.
