Barry always had an unmatched quiet confidence. Not only did he believe in me, he made me believe in myself. It was an honor to have known him and I will forever be grateful for everything he taught me.

We are deeply saddened by the news of Barry's passing.

Barry had such a kind and gentle soul. He was a very special person that we had the honor of meeting and to work under his guidance. Barry showed us how to be a better person and touched our lives in so many different ways.

Barry always took care of his guys. His bright smile and pleasant personality will be sorely missed.

Our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences go out to his family. May God bless you all during this time and bring you peace, comfort and treasured memories.

I have only really known Barry since May of 2012, not nearly long enough, but somehow it feels like much longer. He was a faithful man, to his wife and family, to his job, and to our men's group at the church. We had many early mornings together over the past couple years at SCC. Barry, you will be sorely missed, but I know you had a glorious homecoming! Wes Goebel Jax

Uncle Barry was such a kind person. I can't recall a milestone in my life that he wasn't present for, right there with my Aunt Debbie! We all love him and will miss him more than words can describe. I take comfort in knowing he is in heaven with my dad who I'm sure was right there waiting to welcome him home.
Love,

I met Barry in 1986. Never seen a man who could run a calculator like he could. Sometimes when we were bidding big jobs, he would tell us not to make him nervous. He was a good man and father. I still remember a lot of the things he thought me and I am passing the info on down the line. May God be with you.

Met Barry thru Switzerland Community Church and shared life with him as a fellow Stage 4 chemotherapy patient. He is greatly missed and helped me develop my faith and prayer life in Christ, Now I look forward to the future freindship we'll have together with Jesus. The photo of his Harley Davidson touched me as a fellow rider! May the God of all Comfort touch his family with Love, Comfort and the Certainty of a Joyfull Reunion in Glory!

Barry was such a nice person and a good brother-in-law. Our one regret is that we weren't able to spend a lot of time with him. We will miss him.
