SMITH, Beatrice, 87, formerly of Louisville, died Monday, May 13, 2013.



Born in Princeton, Kentucky, Beatrice was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Williamson Vogelsberg. She was a member of the Newburg Christian Church and Victory Chapter #447 O.E.S.



Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband Mitchell K. Smith; a son Samuel Ray Sadler, Jr.; and a brother, Charles Vogelsberg.



Survivors include her daughter, Linda (J.D.) Bayles of Spring City, TN; grandchildren Bryan (Kim) Bayles and Becky (Sean) Burton; great-grandchildren, Bryson Bayles, Zachary Gibson and Cameron and Connor Burton.



Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 18th, at noon at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, with Rev. Brian Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10am until the time of services.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Newburg Christian Church, 5225 Poplar Level Rd., Louisville, 40219.
