Mrs. Beatrice Cobble Allen, age 94, of Elkton, TN, died January 16, 2014 at Hillside Hospital.
She was born August 10, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Harvey and Stella Pratt Cobble. She is preceded in death by her husband Ed Allen, a son, Wade Allen; three sisters, Lizzie Allen, Ruby Mae Cobble, Cora Pratt and great grandchild, Emily Tunstill.
Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a member of the Elkton Baptist Church, where she served in the nursery for more than 30 years.
Survivors include, daughter, Jo Ann (Robert) Hill of Elkton, TN; grandchildren, Robbie (Steve) Phifer, and Eddie (Kelly) Hill of Elkton, TN; great grandchildren, Logan and Kayla Phifer, Rylie Hill and Katie Patton of Elkton, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Elkton Baptist Church on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 1:00PM with Rev. Dennis Cleveland officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:30PM at the church prior to service. Mrs. Allen will be laid to rest at Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, TN with a family service at 11AM Saturday, 1-18-2014.

Prayer's are with your family at this time, so sorry to learn of Mrs. Allen passing. She had such a kind and generous spirit that blessed so many hearts, her work in Elkton Baptist Church will always be remembered by so many of us who knew her. Your loss is a great one,may the memories she left bless your heart as you continue to feel our prayer's.

Mrs. Allen was a sweet lady. I remember when the Allens lived near us at Prospect. Then in later life, I enjoyed visiting with her at NHC. She was so alert and kept me up-to-date with the famiy. I'm going to miss seeing her when I go to NHC. God bless.
