Obituary

Belinda Louise Reney 56, of Keene, NH, passed away on April 15th, 2017 after a long period of illness. She was born in Jacksonville, NC on April 2, 1961 and was a resident of Surry, NH for most of her childhood, graduating in 1978 from the Monadnock Regional High School, Swanzey, NH. Belinda was also a 1980 graduate of the NH Vocational Technical College in Claremont, NH and the University of Maine in 1984. Belinda worked for the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene as an Occupational Therapist for 25 years. Belinda Louise Reney 56, of Keene, NH, passed away on April 15th, 2017 after a long period of illness.

She was born in Jacksonville, NC on April 2, 1961 and was a resident of Surry, NH for most of her childhood, graduating in 1978 from the Monadnock Regional High School, Swanzey, NH. Belinda was also a 1980 graduate of the NH Vocational Technical College in Claremont, NH and the University of Maine in 1984.

Belinda worked for the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene as an Occupational Therapist for 25 years.

Belinda was also involved with her father for over 25 years helping with Keene Lions Club Charities, Toys For Tots and the Keene Pumpkin Festival.
She was preceded in death by her mother Carole L. Reney of Surry, NH, who cultivated a love for painting & crafts with her daughter; a pastime that was one of her favorites.

Belinda was always known for her wonderful sense of humor and her deep love for family.

Survivors include her father, Wallace A. Reney and his wife Lelamae Ann Reney of Surry; her son's Cameron E. Carpenter and his wife, Elizabeth of Rochester NH, Connor J. Carpenter and her grandson, Jaxon J. Carpenter of Keene; a brother Kevin A. Reney, Sr. of Hudson, Florida; longtime friend and companion, James Newman, of Keene; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at 11:00 AM in the Surry Village Cemetery, Village Road, Surry. There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Belinda's memory to the ALS New England Chapter, 10 Ferry Street, Concord NH 03301.
