Belton Bihm Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 7, 2011.

Belton "Poppa" Bihm, 70, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011 in an area hospital.
Mr. Bihm was a retired farmer, a U.S. Army Veteran and he loved to work with his hands. His grandchildren thought he could fix anything, and everyone who knew him, knew he could. He is survived by his mother, Rosa Aguillard Bihm of Welsh, LA; his wife of 47 years, Pris Aguillard Bihm of Thornwell, LA; sons, Jeff Bihm and wife, Monique of Lumberton, TX, Raymond Bihm and wife, Missy of Thornwell, LA, Boo Bihm and wife, Mandy of Thornwell, LA; grandchildren, Katie, Zack, Carter, Hunter, Kennedy, and Maddie; sister, Wilma Bihm Morales and husband, Gene of Conroe, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Emery Bihm.
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Rev. Jerry Snider, Rev. Bubba McCann and Rev. Michael W. Smith will officiate. Pallbearers assisting in his service will be Ronald Ardoin, Zack Bihm, Mark Couch, Gene Morales, Bill Seymour and Mike Williams. Dear Aunt Pris, I would have done this back in Febuary, but I had a hard time me and David both in trying to bring up this site anyway I found it and my heart was so broken when Sammie called to tell us I tried to get to you all without fail, but it did not work out I love you so much. The last thing Uncle did for me was to be sure mommas coffee and boudan was good and cold for Chris and I to retuen to Columbia. I loved Uncle Ponta so much he was such a great Uncle to me . God Bless all of you. Love forever Your Niece Debbie
