Benjamin Williams of Monroe, NY entered into rest on September 21, 2013. He was 52. Benjamin was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 31, 1961 to George and Josephine (Testa) Williams. He was the husband of Christine Matsis Williams. Benjamin was a loving husband and father, his family was his life. Benjamin was a retired NYPD Police officer and was employed by CBS for the David Letterman Show. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Benjamin loved fishing and had the ability to make anyone laugh. He is survived by his loving wife Christina Williams; Sons, Benjamin C. Williams and Matthew P. Williams; daughter, Alexa N. Williams all of Blooming Grove, NY; his mother, Josephine Williams of Ridgewood, NY; sister, Clarice and her husband Anthony Olivieri of Queens, NY; God Daughter, Nicole Rammelkamp and nieces Arianna, Alyssa and Krista Olivieri. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 26 & Friday September 27 from 2-4 & 6-9pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, September 28, 10am at St. Mary's Church in Washingtonville, NY. Burial will immediately follow at 11am in St. Mary's Cemetery in Washingtonville, NY.
