Bennie Joe Harris passed away peacefully in his sleep Saturday March 28, 2015 in Hamilton at the age 92. He was born in Hamilton on November 23, 1922 to Eugene and Laura Harris. Joe severed his Country in the Navy as a Boatswain's Mate First Class. Joe was a Golden Glove boxer in the Navy.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by two sons Lonnie Harris, Mike Harris and his wife Donna, one nephew Jimmy Estilll, four grandchildren Kyle Harris, Ashlee Szymanski, Lebecca McMahon and Brent Harris. Five great grandchildren Joshua, Keegan, Camille Szymanski. Kennedy and Nora Harris. Joe had many many friends that he leaves behind. He will be missed.
Graveside Services were held Sunday March 29, 2015, at the Harris Cemetery in Hamilton.
