My Grandfather was a quiet man,
But his silence could speak volumes.
He always made you feel loved without words.
The warmth of his gaze said "I love you."
The gentleness of his hands said "your precious to me."
The strength of his hugs goodbye said "I'll miss you, come back soon."
I will miss cooking you your favourite dishes.
I will miss working on puzzles with you.
But most of all I will miss you asking me to come back soon when I was hugging you goodbye.
I hope us all being with you during your time of need brought you comfort and showed you how much we loved you.
I love you grandpa and you will forever be in my heart.

Although your journey was sometimes hard, you made it look easy like a good hand of cards. You never complained or asked for much just a card game or two and a little luck. You loved the company and to just talk to fill the long days that just never stopped. Although some of us tried we just couldn't fill the gaps, it was still lonely without the rest. Please don't be sorry for you have no reason to, as I think it is us that have failed you. I hope you have found the peace that you seek, and the pain I witnessed is now just history.
I love you dearly and you will be missed and if I had my way I would make sure you peacefully rest.

Your suffering has finally ended. And although we are all sad your not here with us anymore we're happy you're now at peace, and with Grandma. I can almost hear you two bickering now haha. You will be missed greatly by all who knew you.
Love you always Pa
