Bernice B. Branch, age 83, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 in Madisonville, Texas. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she moved to Houston, Texas as a young child, and she was an excellent cook who loved her family, animals, and gardening. She was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Gail Staffa; mother, Margaret Miller; and sister, Ruth Attaway. Survived by her husband of 64 years, Ed Branch; son, Daniel Edgar Branch and wife Becky; daughters, Deborah Crocker and husband Scooter, and Brenda Kirchhoff and husband Don; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and nieces, Carol Noyes, and Patti Jean Lillich. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2015 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven.
