Bernice Marie Heinz passed away January 8, 2018 at the age of 90. She was born in Fayette County, Texas to Ola and Albert Votaw.
Bernice worked as a waitress and an airline stewardess but was especially proud of her career as a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband George Heinz; parents, and sister Margaret Grubbs. Bernice is survived by her sister, Ann Hofferek (Ervin); nieces and nephews, Clint Bertsch (Barbara), Pam Johnston (Johnny), Karen Blaschke (Rex), Lisa Saunders(Gary), Lesley Hurta (Brad); eight great and 3great-great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Bernice's life was held privately by the family at Oak Hill Cemetery.

We were the 3 outlaws in school - all born the same month, each had no children. Lorraine Kelley July 2, Bernice Votaw July 10th, Bessie Jo Cole
July 28 and rode the school bus together.
We had so much fun when we were young!
Last year I was in the Towers with a broken leg and I saw her and went over to her and was saddened to know that she didn't know me. RIP
