Born March 14, 1924 in Seattle WA, passed away after a life of love, joy, and laughter, on November 20, 2012. Bernice was a Seattle native, a homemaker, long-time volunteer for the March of Dimes Foundation, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She especially enjoyed her time with family, morning walks with her friends at Northgate, winning at the casino, seafood dinners, and long weekends at the family cabin on Camano Island. Born March 14, 1924 in Seattle WA, passed away after a life of love, joy, and laughter, on November 20, 2012. Bernice was a Seattle native, a homemaker, long-time volunteer for the March of Dimes Foundation, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She especially enjoyed her time with family, morning walks with her friends at Northgate, winning at the casino, seafood dinners, and long weekends at the family cabin on Camano Island. Bernice is survived by her children: son Scott (Carma), daughter Joani (Gary), grandchildren Shauna, Brandi, and Brittany, and great grandsons Blake and Evan. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Edward B. Anderson and her sister, Virginia Snyder. A memorial service will be held at Acacia Funeral Home on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Acacia Memorial Park. Remembrances can be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund or your favorite charity.
