I am so sorry for your loss. What an amazing life and an amazing man. We thank him for his service to our county, but mostly for his service to his family. Without him ... we would not have the beautiful family we have now! I'll be praying for all of you as you close this important chapter. Lord Jesus, give them peace.

Gail and Barry thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your family for years and sharing your mom and dad with me. I have loved mom and pop and always tried to be there for them. I love you both and will be praying for you and your families through this difficult time. I love you Pop and I know you have probably found something to paint or someplace to plant a garden. Love you.

Gail and Barry – Just want to let you know that I am thinking of you in this time of loss. I will always be grateful for the support that your parents gave to my father and mother when my mother was in her final days. That was a very special thing they did and I know my parents appreciated it as much as I did. My mother thought of your mother as if she were a sister and I will always remember Dad saying that when he decided to join the Army your Dad said “if you go then I'm going too” and he did … their serial numbers were one number apart. My final thoughts for you are best expressed in Romans 8:38,39
