Obituary

Bernie Earl Howard Sr. age 77 of Moody, AL formerly of Leeds, AL passed away April 4, 2014.
Bernie was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and Bethel Baptist Church. He served in the Alabama National Guard for 10 years and served as Vice President of Compass Bank where he worked for 47 years.
Mr. Howard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue Howard, sons, Earl Howard (Christy), Joel Howard, David Howard, brothers, Harold C. Howard, Johnny Howard, grandchildren, Brian, Brandon, Lauren, Nick, Hope and Chandler, great grandchildren, Gavin and Reese Howard.
The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Bethel Baptist Church.
Services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11 AM with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
